📌 Job Description – Sales Engineer

🔹 About the Role

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving revenue growth through technical sales, client relationship management, and providing engineering-based solutions to customers. The role requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convert customer requirements into business opportunities.


🔹 Key Responsibilities

🟢 Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Conduct market research on trends, competitors, and customer needs.

🟢 Technical Support & Solutions

  • Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable solutions.

  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and service teams.

  • Assist customers in product selection, installation guidance, and troubleshooting.

🟢 Sales Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare sales forecasts and visit reports.

  • Participate in meetings, exhibitions, and client visits.

  • Submit quotations, tenders, and follow-ups for order closure.

  • Maintain CRM and sales tracking systems.


🔹 Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical knowledge in industrial equipment/products

  • Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills

  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications

  • Target-oriented and self-motivated

  • Customer-centric problem-solving approach

  • Proficiency in MS Office & CRM tools


🔹 Key Requirements

  • Good communication skills

  • Willingness to travel frequently

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts

  • Strong analytical & commercial skills

  • Experience in B2B industrial sales (preferred)
